The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Industrialisation
and Trade (MIT) have jointly established the Sustainable Development Goals Impact
Facility (SDGIF). The SDGIF is a multi-stakeholder financial and capacity building
platform that bridges entrepreneurship, social innovation, and blended capital to create
sustainable economic and social returns. The facility’s fund manager is the Environmental
Investment Fund of Namibia and it is co-financed by Standard Bank Namibia.
The facility’s support to MSMEs will have a catalytic impact in addressing development
challenges in the country through strengthening the local economy, improving livelihoods,
creating decent jobs, and building equitable communities.
Join the launch – happening right now 10:00-12:00 on UNDP’s Facebook page or by following this link (https://www.facebook.com/UndpNamibia/videos/650464659169929/?vh=e&d=n).
